Ryan Phillips started his racing career at the age of five, racing Sodi Karts at Richmond Karting Speedway. The next five years he was watching, learning, and practicing the basics; understanding what it would take to become a successful race car driver. Moving forward into full size go-karts, the years of seat time paid off, achieving two consecutive overall track point championships at Boxshop Speedway and accumulating a total of over 100 wins at various karting venues in Maine. Jumping into the adult division at only 15 years old with no intention of racing for a points championship Ryan only raced seven times, racing primarily the special event races. That year Ryan won 5 of those 7 races. This caught the attention of a local race car builder who strongly suggested that Ryan's father put him in a race car.
Looking for the next step Ryan Phillips Motorsports decided to join the Pro All-Star Series in 2012. The 2012 season was a struggle for us with a new car, new tracks, and more experienced competition. Learning from our mistakes, we came out in 2013 with ten Top 10 finishes, two Top 5 finishes, and one victory at our home track Beech Ridge Motor Speedway. This coming season Ryan Phillips Motorsports plans to go that extra mile to be the 2014 PASS champion, but we can not achieve our goals without the aid of our sponsors' continued support.

In 2010 Ryan Phillips Motorsports started stock car racing at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway. Starting last in our first heat race, we won proving that we were not just a rookie team, but a championship contender. Coming just shy of the championship with a second place in overall standings, Ryan won Beech Ridge Motor Speedways Most Impressive New Driver award as well as Rookie of the Year in his division. Mainely Motorsports also awarded Ryan the 2010 Entry Level Driver of the Year award. Opening day the following season (2011) we came to the track with only one goal: to be points champion fourteen races from now. We were able to meet this challenge with success and achieve our goal of becoming a Beech Ridge Motor Speedway track champion. This made Ryan the youngest Beech Ridge NASCAR champion within the tracks rich 30 year history.
